Team Leader, Provider Data Mgt & Credentialing Ops - Waltham, MA
Purpose of Position:
Manage Provider Data Management/Credentialing team operations and related staff to ensure the quality and integrity of PHCS provider data network data. Manage team and processes effectively to meet the PHCS standards of performance for performance, production, quality, and cycle time to support PHCS organizational objectives
Essential Functions:
Management of employee performance, including but not limited to, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and career development.
Manage effective team operations including developing and meeting production and quality goals and standards for performance; develop and maintain staffing levels to maintain service standards, production goals, quality standards and cycle time.
Manage projects from initiation to completion, as needed, to develop process improvement or data integrity initiatives at the department and organizational level, utilizing PHCS Project Management Guidelines and standards
Provide subject matter expertise on team products and processes and PHCS data systems internal and external to the department
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Network Operations/Network Development staff.
Develop and produce weekly team productivity statistics to measure compliance and effectiveness of team operations; provide weekly feedback to department director on results, trends, corrective action, and/or opportunities for improvement
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
2-3 years management experience
Experience with complex data systems
Previous managed care or insurance background experience required
Experience in a high volume, date driven production/quality environment
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills.
Understanding of the impact of regulatory and accreditation requirements related to industry
Prior Recredentialing experience, as well as knowledge of regulator/ industry standards related to credentialing is required
Desired:
Knowledge/experience with PHCS data systems
Knowledge/experience with provider credentialing
